Hi. My name is Lori McCrory and I am so excited and very proud to be a part of Abadie Academy.  

I am from Alabama, received a Bachelor’s Degree in Childhood Education and a Master’s in Collaborative Education from Auburn University Montgomery.

I am certified to teach Early Childhood, Elementary and Collaborative Education.  I have taught all subjects, but most of my time has been teaching English As A Second Language.   I also tutored adult ESL students and Hyundai Motor Manufacturing employees.

I have a true passion for teaching Reading, English and Language to help each child to progress in their development.  I strive to create a fun learning environment for the children.  

Personally, I have 2 children, 1 grandson, and love my cats!  In my free time I enjoy reading, relaxing at the beach, listening to good music, and spending time with family and friends.  I also tutor Reading, English and Language in the evenings.

Hello. My name is Donna, and I have a worked as a private tutor since 2006, helping K-12, college, and adult students deepen their English – Language Arts skills, including with reading,
comprehension, phonetics, vocabulary, writing, critical thinking, and literature. A strong foundation translates to deeper mastery of many other subjects, including history, civics, the
social sciences and many other courses, and I have tutored such courses, assisting students of all
ages to enhance their competency and increase their GPAs. I also tutor math and am strongest with K-7th levels, up to algebra. Lastly, I teach swimming to youngsters and adults, and children
with disabilities, both physical and developmental, how to swim and to improve, and can tailor lessons towards an individual's needs and learning styles. It is a joy to teach swimming and
water safety. Since 2001, I have occasionally worked in schools as a substitute teacher and as a
school tutor; I hold a Master of Science degree, have had GATE training and worked with GATE students, and hold a WSI swim instructor certificate as well.
